Amazon continues expansion of Whole Foods grocery deliveries

Amazon has launched the service in seven cities in recent weeks

Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) is scaling up its cross-over with recently acquired Whole Foods, by expanding its grocery deliveries.

The online retailer will now begin Whole Foods deliveries to paid-up Amazon Prime members in San Francisco and Atlanta – moreover, via the Prime Now service, customers who spend over US$35 will receive delivery for free within two hours.

In February, Amazon launched the service in Austin, Cincinnati, Dallas and Virginia Beach.

Plainly, Amazon is moving quickly to integrate and expand its grocery business.
