Talks are now ongoing over the final outstanding approval from the Ministry of Housing.
"The issue of these ‘no objections’ means that we require only one final ‘no objection’ prior to the public authority of mining being able to assess the company's mining licence applications, with mining still planned to commence in 2018," said David Archer, Savannah chief executive.
Savannah holds a 65% stake in the Omani company Al Fairuz Mining which owns the Oman assets.
Additionally, Savannah noted that it has issued 1.4mln new shares due to the exercise of option, at a price of 4.62p.
