Marketing and media analytics consultancy Ebiquity PLC (LON:EBQ) has named Rob Woodward as its chairman-designate with effect from 1 March 2018.
The AIM-listed company said Woodward - appointed a non-executive director from that same date - will succeed Michael Higgins, the company’s chairman for the past 12 years, who will step down from the board after the group's annual general meeting on 9 May, 2018.

The group noted that Woodward was previously chief executive officer of Scottish media group STV Group PLC (LON:STV) for nearly 11 years, commercial director at Channel 4 Television and a managing director with UBS Corporate Finance and the lead partner for Deloittte’s TMT industry Group on Europe.
He is currently chairman of data services provider Blancco Technology Group PLC (LON:BLTC)
Ebiquity said it believes Woodward brings a wealth of media sector and senior board-level experience to the company.
