Futura Medical PLC (LON:FUM) has a new finance director, with Angela Hildreth joining the company to replace Derek Martin, who has left the company.
Hildreth will join the board as a director and will also be chief operating officer.

She was most recently the UK finance director of Shield Therapeutics PLC, having joined the business as its financial controller in 2011 when it was an unquoted start-up. Her breadth of roles at the business included finance, business development, human resources and information technology.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Derek for his contribution to the development of the company during almost 10 years as finance director having been appointed on 24 September 2008. We wish him all the best in his future activities,” said James Barder, Futura’s chief executive.
"I am delighted to welcome Angela to the role of FD and COO at Futura. Her breadth of knowledge and commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector will be of great value to the company at a key stage in our development," Barder added.
