CVS Health, Viacom, Kellogg Company and more - PRE-MARKET

Moving the dial in pre-market was CVS Health Corp which is up 2.22% to US$76 as it beat expectations

US stocks are seen opening higher after closing in the red yesterday.

Moving the dial in pre-market trade is CVS Health Corp (NYSE:CVS), which is up 2.22% to US$76 as it beat expectations on its fourth quarter earnings.

Its earnings nearly doubled in the last quarter of 2017, fueled by a US$1.5bn tax benefit.

Heading the other direction was Viacom Inc (NASDAQ:VIAB), which shed 3.28% to US$29.51 despite posting a quarterly profit beat.

Viacom’s advertising revenue rose 1%, while affiliate sales, or the fees it collects from cable TV operators and online distributors, fell 4%.

Elsewhere, in pre-market, breakfast cereal giant Kellogg Company (NYSE:K) shares shed 0.09% to US$64.15 ahead of its results, which are due before the bell.

Analysts expect the firm to have earned US$0.96 per share on revenue of US$3.08bn in the latest quarter.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) shares added 2.10% to US$233.60 after hours.

The tech group is expected to report quarterly earnings of US$1.16 per share on revenues of US$2.67bn.
