General Motors Company, Centene, Archer Daniels Midland and more - PRE-MARKET

General Motors shares added 1.16% to US$40 as its quarterly numbers beat expectations.

US stocks are seen starting in the red again after yesterday's 4.6% drop in the Dow Jones.

In companies, General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) shares added 1.16% to US$40 as its quarterly numbers beat expectations.

Revenue came in at US$37.7bn against US$36.55bn,which was expected and adjusted EPS was US$1.65 against US$1.38 expected.

Elsewhere, Centene Corp (NYSE:CNC) is down 4.3% to US$95.11 after it reported quarterly results, which showed diluted earnings per share (EPS) of US$1.30 and US$4.69, respectively.

Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) is reporting after the bell and analysts in Wall Street expect the movie giant to post quarterly earnings of US$1.61 per share on revenues of US$15.46 billion after the bell.

Archer Daniels Midland Co (NYSE:ADM), the global food processor and commodities trader, saw shares lose 2% before the bell, despite it reporting fourth-quarter earnings on Tuesday that beat market estimates, helped by higher profit from its agricultural services and corn processing businesses.
