Cirrus Logic, Everest Re Group, Skyworks Solutions and more - AFTER HOURS

Proactive takes a look at what was piquing interest on Monday, after hours in New York

After the bloodbath for US stocks yesterday, Cirrus Logic Inc (NASDAQ:CRUS) carried on the trend after the New York bell.

The computer chip supplier saw shares crash over 15.5% in extended deals as it posted disappointing third-quarter results, with revenue coming in at US$482.7mln and earnings of US$1.59 per share. Analysts had expected revenues of US$531mln and EPS (earnings per share) of US$1.78.

Going the other way, Everest Re Group Ltd (NYSE:RE) shares shot up almost 7% after the bell as the reinsurance firm reported profits, which grew as it reported a rise in premiums written.

Revenue just beat analyst expectations, while EPS (earnings per share) reached a record high of US$13.85.

Meanwhile, shares of Skyworks Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:SWKS) added 0.87% after hours, as the semiconductor supplier's revenue and earnings beat expectations on strong global demand for its wireless communications engines.

It also unveiled a new US$1bn stock buyback plan and raised cash return targets to shareholders.

Lululemon Athletica Inc (NASDAQ:LULU) shares sank 2.47% to US$75.50 after the bell after the athletic apparel retailer said yesterday that chief executive Laurent Potdevin had resigned on Monday.

The company stated that Potdevin fell short of the company's standards of conduct. He will receive a US$3.5mln lump sum payment under a separation agreement.
