Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cirrus Logic, Arconic Inc, SYSCO and more - PRE-MARKET

We take a look at what's hot and what's not in pre-market deals in New York

After the major sell-off on Friday, US stocks are seen starting lower on Monday, with the Dow Jones down 241 points in pre-market deals.

In London, the FTSE 100 is down 1.38% at the time of writing at 7,340.

Medical equipment and pharma giant Bristol-Myers Squibb Co (NYSE:BMY) shares are up 2.79% after hours.

It comes as the firm revealed a profit for its fourth quarter to end December that was up from the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to US$1.12bn, or US$0.68 per share.

Analysts had expected the company to earn US$0.67 per share

Arconic Inc (NYSE:ARNC) shed 1.06% to US$28.80 as the metals maker's revenue gained 10% in the fourth quarter, led by higher aluminum demand.

Elsewhere, after today's bell, semiconductor group Cirrus Logic Inc (NASDAQ:CRUS) is expected to post quarterly earnings of US$1.78 per share on revenues of US$529.37mln.

Shares shed 0.24% to stand at US$46.64.

Meanwhile, SYSCO Corp (NYSE:SYY) shares closed on Friday down 1.31% at US$61.18 a share.

The company said its bottom line rose to US$347.14mln, or US$0.66 per share. This was higher than US$318.79mln, or US$0.58 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Last but not least, after the markets close, Regal Beloit Corp (NYSE:RBC) is forecast to post quarterly earnings at US$1.13 per share on revenue of US$794.65mln. Regal Beloit shares dropped 2.16% to close at US$77.00 on Friday.
