YouGov PLC (LON:YOU) shares jumped as the market research group raised its expectations for the half-year ending January 31.
The company said its strategy to focus on growing its higher margin data products and services business, improve operating margins in custom research and expand in the US, has paid off.

"We are pleased to report that half year trading is anticipated to be ahead of previous expectations, it said, adding that the board "remains confident of achieving its full year targets".
YouGov publishes its half-year results on March 26.
Shares rose 5.2% to 349p each in morning trading.
