University intellectual property commercialisation company, Frontier IP Group Plc (LON:FIPP) said one of its portfolio companies, Molendotech, has hooked up with a subsidiary of Halma.
Molendotech has developed a novel test that is able to identify the concentration of faecal bacteria in water, and this has attracted the interest of Palintest, a subsidiary of FTSE 100 company, Halma PLC (LON:HLMA), which will help bring the technology to market.

Simon Bowman, technical director of Palintest, said: “We are very excited to be working with the Molendotech team and pleased to bring our own know-how and expertise to develop and commercialise the Molendotech technology."
Neil Crabb, chief executive of Frontier IP, added that Molendotch is showing strong potential.
“Its technology is capable of addressing a wide range of water-testing applications from beaches to the beverage industry," Crabb said.

In a separate announcement, Frontier said Neil Crabb and chief operating officer Jamie McKay would be presenting at a capital markets day at the British Embassy in Portugal today.
The presentation is intended to provide an overview of the group's business and to showcase some of the most innovative technologies that it is supporting both in the UK and Portugal.
