US stocks are seen moving higher and ahead of the bell. Fortune 500 building group Sherwin Williams Co (NYSE:SHW) shed 2.86% to US$417.11.
It came despite the firm issuing earnings in the fourth quarter, which were up on last year at the same period.
Revenue rose 43.2% to US$3.98bn, which was up from US$2.78bn last year.
Meanwhile, Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) shares added 2.95% to US$173.30 as the group reported earnings of US$2.16 on revenues of US$12.9bn.

In the previous quarter, the firm also far exceeded Wall Street's expectations.
Meanwhile, Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) is expected to post quarterly earnings at US$0.57 per share on revenue of US$6.21bn after the bell.
Starbucks shares closed yesterday, up 0.31% to US$61.02.
American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ:AAL) shed 0.02% after the bell as it reported fourth-quarter earnings of US$258mln, which flew slightly beyond expectations.
