Euromoney says European Commission conducting unannounced inspection of its RISI business

In a brief statement, the FTSE 250-listed magazine publishing and events group said the Commission is investigating the sector of Kraft paper in the European Union/European Economic Area

Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC (LON:ERM) has confirmed that the European Commission is conducting an unannounced inspection at the Brussels office of its RISI business. 

In a brief statement, the FTSE 250 listed magazine publishing and events group said the Commision is investigating the sector of Kraft paper in the European Union/European Economic Area.

RISI is a subsidiary within the Euromoney group which provides independent information to the paper and packaging market.

The firm - in which newspaper publisher Daily Mail and General Trust PLC (LON:DMGT) still has a big stake - said RISI is committed to working fully with the Commission during this process.
