Xerox Corp (NYSE:XRX) shares shot up in Thursday’s premarket dealing amid speculative reports that the copy company is in merger talks with Fujifilm.
A number of potential deals are being discussed, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

A transaction with the Japanese photography and technology firm could include a change of control at Xerox, but, a ‘full takeover’ is said to not be on the table and no deal appears imminent.
In premarket deals, Xerox shares jumped more than 6% to trade at US$32.20.
