Crocs raises fourth-quarter outlook above estimates, reiterates full-year view

The casual-shoe maker adjusts guidance ahead of investor conference

Crocs Inc. (NASDAQ:CROX) on Monday raised its fourth-quarter outlook above Wall Street estimates and backed its full-year view as the casual-shoe manufacturer makes a presentation at the IRC Conference.

The company now expects revenues of between US$195mln and US$198mln in the quarter ended Dec 31, up from a previous projection of between US$180mln and US$190mln.

That’s above Wall Street analysts’ average estimate of US$187.6mln for the same period.

The new figure anticipates a 5% improvement above revenues of US$187.7mln in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Full-year view holds steady

The Niwot, Colo. company also backed its full-year projection that revenues will be down in the low single digits compared to US$1.04bln in 2016, and expects gross margins to hold steady at 50% compared to the prior year.

Wall Street expects full-year revenues of US$1.01 billion.

Crocs officials are expected to make a presentation Monday at the 20th annual ICR Conference in Grande Lakes, Fla.
