Circa 30% of grades from Morabisi have featured lithium grades in excess of 1%

Greenpower Energy Limited’s (ASX:GPP) latest results from its Morabisi Lithium/REE project located in Guyana, South America have featured encouraging lithium values.

Assays of up to 2.41% lithium were recorded from the Turesi Ridge area of the project, also resulting in an expansion of the mineralised zone at Turesi.

More than 130 samples across a 10,000 square metre zone have been collected, of which circa 40 revealed assays greater than 1% lithium.

Recent returns follow identification of grades up to 2.6% lithium in October

Grades in excess of 2% were found in 10 assays from the group just sampled, and that follows on from a successful trenching campaign in 2017.

When grades of up to 2.6% lithium were announced in October intense interest surrounded the company.

This news resulted in Greenpower’s shares more than doubling under record volumes to an intra-day high of $0.03.

Circa 50% of Turesi analyses have now been received with the remainder expected over the coming weeks.
