Great Boulder Resources Ltd (ASX:GBR) has delivered more positive diamond drilling results from its Mt Venn copper-nickel-cobalt project in Western Australia.
The preliminary visible results are further evidence that the company’s Mt Venn project is a large copper-nickel-cobalt discovery.
A further two diamond drill holes completed at Mt Venn have intersected wide zones of near-surface sulphide mineralisation in separate, parallel mineralised lenses.
Results build on previous success at Mt Venn
These promising drilling results come on the back of success in early December when the company defined copper, nickel and cobalt over a 2.5-kilometre strike length at the project.

One of the recent diamond drill holes has intersected massive, semi-massive and stringer pyrrhotite with common chalcopyrite only 16 metres downhole.
Several mineralised lenses were intersected over a combined width of 70 metres between 16 metres and 119 metres downhole.
Another hole which was designed to test a strong off-hole conductor identified in the downhole survey intersected significant semi-massive and stringer sulphide mineralisation over a wide 77-metre zone from 66 metres downhole.
Recent results confirm likelihood of higher grade copper mineralisation
Visual logs indicate mineralisation is pyrrhotite dominant with a relatively high chalcopyrite content, consistent with the higher copper grades recently delineated.
The final diamond drill hole is currently underway, testing the southern electromagnetic and magnetic anomaly.
Reverse circulation drilling is almost complete, with two holes remaining to be drilled.
All drilling samples and core will be transported to Perth for preparation and analysis at the conclusion of the drill programs.
