Legend Mining Ltd (ASX:LEG) has received aircore drill assay results from its Rockford Project in the Fraser Range of Western Australia.
The key significance of these results is that they compare very favourably with early results from core drilling by Sirius Resources at Nova (Nova Bollinger discovery).

Both anomalous nickel and copper results, as well as an earlier petrology report provide positive indications of a mineralised system.
One of the better hits was a relatively thick 47-metre intersection of nickel, copper and cobalt, featuring 0.29% nickel, 0.12% copper and 0.03% cobalt.
The assays were taken from a 21 hole program drilled at 400-metre intervals along a 7.6-kilometre target.
Additional bottom of hole samples from this aircore program will be submitted for petrographic analysis to assist interpretation once full assay results are received.
