Dollar General, Broadcom, Digital Power Corp and more - PRE-MARKET

A look at the stocks piquing investor interest before the bell in New York

Wall Street futures indicate a mixed showing, while on the up in pre-market deals is Dollar General Corp (NYSE:DG), the variety store chain.

Shares added 4.57% to US$95 each in extended hours after it outperformed in its third quarter.

Comparable sales increased 4.3% in the three months to top consensus estimates for a 2.7% gain. Customer traffic and average transaction amount were both higher during the quarter.

Meanwhile, Broadcom Ltd (NASDAQ:AVGO) shares gained 4.6% to US$276 in pre-market after it reported a better-than-expected quarterly profit and boosted its dividend payout by 72%.

It comes just days after the firm took its US$103 billion bid for Qualcomm Inc into hostile territory.

Also in focus ahead of the bell is Digital Power Corporation (NYSE:DPW), which added over 35% to US$ 3.70 after the bell. It came after it emerged the group had receive d an order from the US Air Force. Digital Power also expects full year 2018 sales to come in at between US$36mln and US$38 million.
