Legend Mining Ltd (ASX:LEG) has now completed an air-core drilling program at its Rockford Project in the Fraser Range of Western Australia.
Drilling covered 41 holes for circa 3500 metres, with 153 drill samples taken for multi-element analysis.
Results are expected in mid to late December.
Importance of the drilling
The drilling has already provided valuable bedrock geological information identifying broad sections with mafic/ultramafic lithologies.
The lithogeochemical data from the latest drilling will be integrated with the aeromagnetic and gravity datasets to assist with interpretation and future exploration planning both locally at Area D and on a more regional scale.
