Hibbett Sports Inc (NASDAQ:HIBB), the Alabama-headquartered sports goods retailer, saw shares surge on Friday after picking up after hours too, as it revealed third quarter numbers which showed e-commerce was booming.
The group told investors in a statement that it sees 2018 EPS (earnings per share) of between US$1.42 and US$1.50 against consensus of between US$1.25 and US$1.35 a share.

E-commerce sales growth topped the group's highest expectation, while strength in apparel and shoes helped to offset weakness in equipment and accessories.
Earnings fell to US$7.56mln, or US$0.37 per share, which was lower than US$14.60mln, or US$0.66 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Shares added 5.69% to US$14.85 in early deals in New York, having advanced almost 22% in after hours deals.
