Shares in the car research and shopping website CarGurus Inc (NASDAQ:CARG) added 0.91% to US$29.82 in after hours deals in New York.
It came after the group posted better-than-expected revenue growth in its first earnings report since its IPO (initial public offering). The company also gave strong earnings guidance for its fourth quarter.
Elsewhere, Hewlett Packard Inc (NYSE: HPQ) shares gained 0.92% to US$21.36 after hedge fund Greenlight Capital reported it had upped its stake in the company by 75% to 7.81mln shares.

Sage of Omaha Warren Buffet said he had cut his stake in the firm by a whopping 32%.
In May this year, the famed investor said he was revaluing the company amid strong competition.
Elsewhere, tech behemoth Apple (NASDAQ:APPL)shares wavered in after hours trading after hitting a record high last week.
Apple continues to struggle finding parts for its iPhone X, and reportedly came under scrutiny by the US International Trade Commission on Tuesday for allegations of patent infringement.
