Apple - Gadget heads look to what could be in 2019 iPhones

The 2019 iPhone roster could, according to press reports, come with a new rear-facing 3D sensor which would allow for ‘deeper’ augmented reality capabilities.

With a little over week gone since Apple Inc’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone X launch one might be forgiven for thinking that the gadget-head chatter would’ve cooled somewhat - but, already talk around the tech giant is centred on what future versions of the handset could be.

The 2019 iPhone roster could, according to press reports, come with a new rear-facing 3D sensor which would allow for ‘deeper’ augmented reality capabilities.

It would follow the user-facing sensor included in the iPhone X which enables the much hyped Face-ID functionality.

On Monday, technology media reports highlighted claims by hackers that they had managed to ‘break’ the Face ID security by using a ‘mask’ to bypass the facial recognition software.
