Directa Plus Plc (LON:DCTA) said its Graphene Plus (G+) membrane and G+ printed fabrics have received international certification from Complife Italia.
Complife, an independent toxicity testing organisation, confirmed that the materials do not cause any irritation to human skin.

"We are pleased to have our G+ membrane and printed fabrics proven to be non-irritating to human skin. This adds to the certification we received last year that our graphene-based materials are non-toxic and non-cytotoxic,” said Giulio Cesareo, chief ececutive officer of Directa Plus.
“With our Graphene Plus textiles, our customers can truly differentiate their products as innovative, performance-enhancing and comfortable to wear. We have always prided ourselves on the safety and environmental credentials of our production processes and graphene-based products, and this new certification further represents that commitment," he added.

Shares in Directa Plus were up 0.5% in early trading.
