US shares are set for a mixed open, if futures trading is anything to go by..
And it looks like results will be in focus again.
Before the open, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (NYSE:RCL) saw shares add 0.13% to US$125.50 as it's set to report its quarterly earnings.
Analysts reckon that for the three months, it will post earnings of US$3.44 per share on revenues of US$2.58 billion.
Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) shares are likely to be in focus, and nudged up 0.36% after the bell.
It comes as news emerged that 21st Century Fox had discussed selling its stake in the broadcasting giant to Disney as part of a wider deal.
However, reportedly, the talks have stalled because the two entertainment giants are at odds over how the deal should be priced.
Elsewhere, SeaWorld Entertainment Inc (NYSE: SEAS) shares are down 1.70% to US$11 each ahead of its quarterly numbers, expected before the bell.
Emerson Electric Co (NYSE:EMR) shares added 0.77% after the bell to US$65.02.
Wall street expects the multinational headquartered in Missouri to report quarterly earnings at $0.78 per share on revenues of $4.44 billion before the opening bell.
Another share in focus is likely to be Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc (NASDAQ: RRGB), which shed over 19% to US$ 53.85 after the bell on Monday.
The firm reported weaker-than-expected earnings for its third quarter.
