9 Spokes goes live with platform for Royal Bank of Canada

9 Spokes’ user adoption during the September quarter increased by 215%.

9 Spokes (ASX:9SP) has successfully gone live with its white-label platform for Royal Bank of Canada (TSE:RY), Canada’s largest bank.

Using the white-label platform, RBC is able to offer its business clients access to a value-add dashboard tool under the bank's branding.

The contract to provide a white-label version of the 9 Spokes platform was signed 18 September 2017 and the platform went live earlier this week on 1 November 2017.

The result demonstrates the company’s increased ability and capacity to onboard and implement the 9 Spokes dashboard quickly and efficiently with key channel partners.

9 Spokes builds dashboards for its clients, this means it collects a business’s data so it is in one place (known as the dashboard) where it can be analysed.

Mark Estall, CEO, commented

“This was a rapid deployment cycle to one of the largest banks globally, following a first meeting in Toronto in February 2017.

“The rate of deployment is a credit to both RBC and our team, who have worked seamlessly together, and we look forward to working together to bring more value to small businesses in Canada.

“This also demonstrates greater efficiencies in our platform that were developed this year. As opposed to several isolated bespoke solutions, 9 Spokes is designed as "one platform" with one code base for multiple white-label channels.

“As a result, we can continue to accelerate deployments over time, whilst enhancing our offering for channel partners and small businesses globally.”

Strong September quarter

9 Spokes achieved significant progress in business development through the September quarter spearheaded by working agreements with RBC and one of New Zealand’s leading banks.

The company also signed a memorandum of understanding with OCBC, the second largest Singaporean bank, following a detailed and successful proof of concept.

9 Spokes has also progressed multiple opportunities across North America, Australasia and Asia.

IBM, one of 9 Spokes’ Global Alliance Partners, continues to be active globally, introducing sales leads in the financial services sector.

Significantly, before the end of the September quarter, 9 Spokes surpassed 20,000 businesses signed up to its platform.
