Wall Street shares closed higher on Tuesday as the market looked to the Fed meeting and more strong earnings reports.
After the bell, another riser was Newfield Exploration Co (NYSE:NFX), which surged over 6% after the bell to US$32.80 each after the resource group posted better-than-expected third quarter earnings.
Electronic Arts Inc (NASDAQ:EA) dropped 2,59% to US$116.50 as the firm reported disappointing guidance.
Meanwhile, to the healthcare sector and Envision Healthcare Corp (NYSE:EVHC) shares plunged nearly 40% to US$25.95 after the bell, after the company posted earnings and revenue, which were below analysts' expectations.
The company said operations were disrupted by recent hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Last but not least, 3D Systems Corp (NYSE:DDD) shares dropped over 19% to US$9.96 in the extended session after the bell after the company withdrew its guidance.
The company also reported sales and adjusted loss, which were below the Street's estimates.
