A technology that captures and examines circulating cancer tumour cells found in the blood stream, which is being developed by Vortex BioSciences, a portfolio company of the AIM-listed tech investor NetScientific PLC (LON:NSCI), has been featured in a prestigious academic publication.
The Nature Partner Journals article examines how the breakthrough VTX-1 machine helps in the process of optimising workflows for performing whole genome amplification and targeted next-generation sequencing on these captured following the capture of tumour cells.

The study was completed in collaboration with Professor Stefanie Jeffrey, chief of surgical oncology research at Stanford University School of Medicine, California.
