In focus on Wall Street pre-market is Lennar Corp (NYSE:LEN) on Monday, as it emerged it will buy CalAtlantic Group Inc (NYSE:CAA) in a whopping US$5.7bn deal.
The latter saw shares surge over 19% before the bell to US$48.45.

The merger will create the USA's largest home builder by revenue, the companies said Monday.
The total transaction value of $9.3 billion reported by the companies includes $3.6 billion of net debt assumed.
In the wider markets, US stocks are set for a lower open after the highs of Friday.
Also in focus is Merck & Co (NYSE:MRK), which shed 4.36% on Friday after it was revealed the chemical giant has withdrawn KEYTRUDA European application.
Mondelez International Inc (NASDAQ:MDLZ) shares closed 0.56% on Friday at US$40.68.
It is expected to post quarterly earnings at $0.55 per share on revenue of $6.46 billion after the closing bell on Monday
Meanwhile, Enzymotec Ltd (NASDAQ:ENZY) added over 4% on the day as it agreed to be acquired by Frutarom for $11.90 per share in cash.
Last but not least, analysts expect Roper Technologies Inc (NYSE: ROP) shed 0.09% after the bell as it is expected to post quarterly earnings at $2.3 per share on revenue of $1.17 billion before the opening bell.
