It's another big day for US earnings and Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is in focus in pre-market.
Shares added 1.58% after hours to US$12.23 ahead of it revealing third-quarter profit, which jumped 63% amid strong truck sales in North America, a lower tax rate and cost cutting measures.
Some of the biggest names in technology are reporting today with Google parent Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) posting quarterlies after the bell.
Analysts expect the firm to post quarterly earnings at US$8.33 per share on revenue of US$27.20 billion after the closing bell.
Shares nudged up 0.44% to US$995.80 after the bell.
Elsewhere, social media titan Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) gained almost 11% after the bell to US$19 each.
For a second straight quarter, the social network said that its user growth remained essentially flat.
Twitter recorded net income of US$78 million, or 10 cents per share, on revenue of US$590 million. Analysts had expected, on average, earnings of 7 cents per share on revenue of US$586.7 million. So it was a beat.

American Airlines Group Inc (NYSE:AAL) which also made headlines yesterday, saw shares fly 0.06% lower after the bell.
The airline is forecast to report quarterly earnings at US$1.36 a share on revenues of US$10.91 billion.
