Buffalo Wild Wings, Amgen Inc and Las Vegas Sands Corp - AFTER HOURS

A look at the risers and fallers after-hours in New York trade

US stocks closed firmly lower on Wednesday but Buffalo Wild Wings (NASDAQ:BWLD) bucked that trend after hours.

Shares surged over 17% to US$118.50 after the bell having been halted briefly earlier.

The group's third quarter earnings beat analysts’ estimates. The casual restaurant chain also raised its earnings forecast for the year.

Amgen Inc (NASDAQ:AMGN) saw shares lose 1.7% after hours as the biopharma group posted higher-than-expected third quarter results.

However, the firm said Hurricane Maria's impact on its Puerto Rico operations would have a negative per-share earnings impact of 15 cents to 18 cents for the year.

Las Vegas Sands Corp (NASDAQ:LVS) added 1.73% after the bell after the casino and resort operator posted earnings and revenue above analysts' expectations.
