Maintenance specialist, Marlowe PLC (LON:MRL), has strengthened its fire protection division with the acquisition of Tonbridge-based dB Audio and Electronic.
Consideration is £200,000 with the business generating sales of £800,000 and a profit of £100,000 in the year to July.

Marlowe in its current form re-listed on AIM in February 2016 following the reverse takeover of fire protection group Swift.
Since then it has made a number of small in–fill acquisitions in the fire alarm sector plus a move into air hygiene in kitchens, air ducts and asbestos removal with the acquisition of Ductclean in July.
Last week, Marlowe said trading this year was on track with cash of £3.1mln to continue its acquisition strategy.
Shares rose 1% to 367p.
