Petro Matad Limited (LON:MATD) has named Michael Buck as its new chief executive, with the former Salamander Energy and Ophir Energy executive joining the Mongolia explorer at an important time.
"The company is fortunate that a candidate of Mike Buck's calibre and experience has agreed to join Petro Matad as CEO to guide the company through the exciting and challenging times ahead,” said Enkhmaa Davaanyam, Petro Matad chairperson.

On Tuesday, Petro Matad contracted a new seismic campaign which will add to the group’s understand ahead of a recently delayed drill programme - which moved over to next year.
