Bunzl PLC (LON:BNZL) reported a 11% increase in third quarter revenue, boosted by recent acquisitions.
The distribution and outsourcing company said the quarterly growth included a 6% positive impact from acquisitions.

Underlying growth was between 5% and 6%, supported by business wins in North America.
“Growth through acquisitions is an important part of the ongoing strategy of Bunzl,” the company said in its trading update.
So far this year, Bunzl has bought or agreed to buy 11 businesses for a total of about £550mln.

This included the proposed acquisition of the Hedis group of companies in France, announced in July. Hedis brands include cleaning and hygiene-related products for the public, food service, healthcare and cleaning sector.
Bunzl has also acquired UK marketing services business Pixel Inspiration.
The group said it expects to make further acquisitions over coming months.
