PCG Entertainment Plc (LON:PCGE) saw its shares jump over 20% higher in afternoon trading after the AIM-listed firm announced the appointment of Robert McDowall to its board of directors with immediate effect.
The group noted that McDowall has over forty years' experience in the banking, securities and investment business, with companies including Merrill Lynch, Pru-Bache and Singer and Friedlander.

It said his experience covers strategic planning, research, marketing, business development, operations, regulation, finance and public affairs.
PCGE's chairman Richard Poulden commented 'We are delighted to welcome Bob and his wealth of experience to the Board of Directors.
“His broad experience and expertise will help support further diversification and strengthening of PCGE's position for growth."
In late afternoon trading, PGCE shares were up 21%, or 0.0p to 0.07p.
