Keywords Studios PLC (LON:KWS) has completed a bolt-on acquisition, buying video game software development company d3t for £3mln, of which £2.4mln was in cash.
Based in the north-west of England, d3t delivers premium quality outsourced software development services for video game developers and publishers internationally.

Over the last six years, d3t has delivered many projects for clients such as SEGA, Codemasters, Sony XDev and the BBC.
In the year to the end of July 201, the acquired company made an underlying adjusted pre-tax profit of £0.4mln on revenue of £2.8mln.
Keywords said the acquisition brings additional skills, client relationships and geographic reach to the company, extending the strength and scale of its recently established Engineering service line.
