Bellway Plc (LON:BWY) revealed a 14% increase in revenue for the twelve months ended July 31, up to £2.5bn from £2.24bn, meanwhile pre-tax profit was more than 12% higher at £560.7mln from £497.9mln.
Keeping it consistent, the house builder proposed to increase its dividend pay-out by 13% to 122p per share in total for the year.
The company highlighted that it bolstered its pipeline during the year, contracting some 11,613 plots which it describes as “an excellent foundation”.
Highlighting the current trading period, it noted a 17.4% increase in the order book to 5,034 homes valued at £1.36bn.
“The outlook remains positive and the board expects the group to grow volume by at least 5% and the overall average selling price to increase to around £280,000 in the current financial year,” Bellway said in a statement.
