Goldplat has a 90% interest in the Anumso lease, which covers 29 sq km in the highly prospective Amansie East and Asante Akim South Districts of the Ashanti Region of the Republic of Ghana.
Ashanti has identified broader and new mineralised zones at Anumso following sampling.
The samples tested returned samples with over 30 ppb (parts per billion) gold, with 24 samples containing more than 100 ppb of the yellow metal.

Results from initial metallurgical test work was also encouraging, with strong gold recovery by cyanidation recorded.
An initial extended gravity recoverable gold test was conducted on an unoxidised composite, which indicated that up to 72.9% of the gold may be recoverable by gravity methods.
Ashanti is planning further work to optimise process conditions and evaluate variability.
