SeaWorld Entertainment, FLIR Systems, Zumiez and more - AFTER HOURS

SeaWorld Entertainment Inc saw shares splash 4.46% higher to US$14.74 after hours on Wednesday after it was reported in various media that it was considering a sale

SeaWorld Entertainment Inc (NYSE:SEAS) saw shares splash 4.46% higher to US$14.74 after hours on Wednesday after it was reported in various media that it was considering a sale.

UK-listed Merlin Entertainments PLC (LON:MERL) has reportedly made an offer for part of SeaWorld's business.

Merlin already operates theme parks in the USA, including Legoland Florida and Sea Life attractions.

Elsewhere, Zumiez Inc (NASDAQ:ZUMZ) added 4.5% to US$19.75 after it posted better than expected third quarter numbers.

Based on a stronger than expected sales quarter-to-date, the specialty retailer of clothes and shoes now expects third quarter net sales to be in the range of $241mln to $243 million, compared previous range of between US$236 and US$241 million.

Meanwhile, FLIR Systems (NASDAQ:FLIR) , the thermal imaging camera giant, saw shares slip over 4% to US$39.36 in the extended session after closing slightly higher in the regular session on Wall Street.

Packaged food group Conagra Brands Inc (NYSE:CAG) shares gained 1.59% to US$33.96 after the bell, following a regular trading session that saw the company rise nearly 1.7%.
