Galantas given date for court judgement

Planning consent for Omagh has been called into question, but Galantas has continued with work

The decision in a judicial review of the planning consent for underground development at the Omagh mine of Galantas Gold Corp (LON:GAL, CVE:GAL) is due on September 29.

The Department of Environment Northern Ireland, within the Department for Infrastructure, made the decision to allow underground mining but a third party brought a Judicial Review in the Belfast High Court to challenge the decision to grant the planning consent.
