US stocks closed at record highs on Monday, and after hours, tech giant Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) was in play after the bell.
The internet king announced that its popular Amazon web services will soon start charging its customers by the second. It is a big change since AWS was launched in 2006 it has charged by the hour.
Shares nudged 0.30% higher at US$977 each.
Sticking to the tech theme, Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) saw shared add 1% to $37.37 after hours after it revealed it was to invest US$1 billion in artificial Intelligence (AI).

Under-the-cosh fast food chain Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc (NYSE:CMG) was also in the spotlight, adding 0.37% to $302.98.
The news emerged last night that the firm was ditching chorizo to make room for Mexican cheese dish queso.
Elsewhere, department store Macy's Inc (NYSE:M) nudged a tad lower - 0.14% to $22.07 as it revealed that it would hire 80,000 seasonal associated in 2017.
