Predictive Discovery Ltd (ASX:PDI) is a 35% holder and exploration cost contributor to six granted permits and three permit applications in the Cote D’Ivoire, including Boundiali.
An agreement has been reached with a local vendor on a 400 square kilometre permit application north of the Boundiali permit, covering around 20 kilometres of the same structure which is inferred to control the Nyangboue gold mineralisation.
This expands the opportunity for the joint venture to find more gold along strike.
Moving to the latest reverse circulation drilling, highlights include: 1 metre at 22.2g/t gold from 51 metres; 1 metre at 9.48g/t gold from 5 metres; and 1 metre at 7.59g/t gold from 16 metres.
Paul Roberts, managing director for Predictive, commented: "The Toro Gold joint venture continues to make progress in the Boundiali area.
"Once granted, the new Boundiali permit will more than double the strike length of prospective structure in the joint venture permits – along strike to the north of the Nyangboue gold discovery."
Nyangboue highlights include: 30 metres at 8.3g/t gold; and 20 metres at 10.5g/t gold.
Roberts added: "We expect that geochemical exploration of the Boundiali permit will commence soon after the permit is granted.
"Results of the recent Nyangboue South and Gbemou reverse cirucaltion drilling shows that gold mineralisation is widespread through the permit."
