Same-store sales increased by 1.4%, driven by eCommerce platform improvements, Mother's Day performance and timing, and bridal promotion initiatives.

Guess? Inc (NYSE:GES), up 17% at US$14.63
Net income rose to US$16.05mln, equivalent to 19 cents a share, from US$12.31mln (15 cents) in the same period of 2016.
Analysts had penciled in a figure of 10 cents for earnings per share, so unsurprisingly market makers whacked the share price of Guess? up sharply to US$14.20 in after-hours trading; the stock closed at US$12.48 in regular trading on Wednesday.
FALLERS
Seadrill Ltd (NYSE:SDRL), down 40% at US$0.16
The group, in the process of a comprehensive restructuring plan, posted a net loss of US$1258mln for the second quarter on revenue on US$577mln.
“Although the market continues to be challenging, continued operational execution and strong customer relationships has enabled us to re-contract a number of units during the quarter,” said Anton Diboqitz, chief executive officer and president of Seadrill Management.
North Atlantic Drilling Ltd (NYSE:NADL), down 6.8% at US$1.1092
The net loss for the second quarter was US$59.1 million, versus a first quarter loss of US$52.9 million). The net loss attributable to shareholders was US$62.3 million (1Q17: loss US$56.4 million).
