IronRidge Resources Limited (LON:IRR) chief executive, Vincent Mascolo, said he was “excited” at the rapid exploration progress it is making at its Bodite Project based in the Ivory Coast.
He was speaking after the release of infill exploration results on the property that contained significant gold-in-soil anomalies and which built on the original work carried out on the area.
Grades of up to 3.9 grams per tonne (g/t) of the precious metal were found.

IronRidge said the anomalies occurred within “favourable structural settings”, providing additional confidence in their significance.
In all there were seven “higher tenor” samples of greater than 50 parts per billion of gold.
Anomalies identified along a strike from the Central Zone “warrant follow-up”, the mineral exploration specialist added.

The infill programme consisted of 1,510 samples collected at 50-metre spacing.
"The infill results confirm and further enhance our priority soil anomaly targets for trenching and auger follow-up, as we move closer towards initial drilling,” CEO Mascolo added.
"We are pleased with the development of our Ivory Coast gold projects and look forward to keeping shareholders and investors updated as more news becomes available."
