Aminex PLC (LON:AEX) has announced the appointment of a new chief operating officer and a head of legal, with Aaron LeBlanc and Brian Cassidy respectively joining from the start of September.
The company highlighted that LeBlanc brings around 15 years experience, including roles at Devon Energy and more recently Serinus Energy Inc, where he was vice president for exploration and was part of a team responsible for growing a Ukrainian gas business tenfold via active drilling programmes.
In his new role, as Aminex chief operating officer, LeBlanc will be responsible for all operations in Tanzania and elsewhere when applicable, the company said.
Cassidy, meanwhile, was previously legal and company secretary at Bowleven, and at his new role at Aminex, he will be responsible for all legal matters related to commercial and operational activities.
