Manchester United PLC (NYSE:MANU) is reportedly set to become the second football team to sign a shirt sponsorship deal with dating app maker Tinder.
Premiership football clubs are now allowed to have sponsorship on their shirt sleeves as well as on the chest area of the shirt, and the Daily Mail reports that the Europa League champions have been offered £12mln by the Silicon Valley software developer.
Won't be long until football shirts are like racing driver's attire, with about 20 + small logos plastered all over them #tinder #MUFC

Nine clubs have taken advantage of the new sponsorship rules that allow one sleeve on each player’s shirt to feature a sponsor’s logo – the other sleeve featured the Premier League’s branding – but the Daily Mail reports that none of them have come close to being offered the amount of money that Manchester United could swipe if they agree to the deal.

According to the Mail, Tinder, which has 50mln people a day using its apps to hook-up with someone in their vicinity for a night of fun (so that’s a trip to Old Trafford ruled out, then), is looking for a more mainstream image and a global following.
Mourinho's requirements read like a girl's Tinder profile.... "Loyalty, trust, respect are the most important to me... Oh and no short guys"
