Futures point to a higher open again on Wall Street with a bevy of more earnings from the big guns expected.
The social media giant Twitter Inc (NYSE TWTR) is seeing shares slump 9.43% in pre-market deals as it reported a lower-than-expected number of monthly active users in its second-quarter earnings before the bell. Later it sank over 14%.

EPS came in at 52 cents a share, versus 48 cents a share expected by consensus. In the regular session, Comcast added 0.20%.
Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ) shares added 3.36% as it too reported second quarter numbers, which cheered the market.
The firm topped expectations as the US wireless carrier attracted more subscribers with its unlimited data plan.
Verizon added 614,000 subscribers who pay a monthly bill. It rose an impressive 7.74% in regular deals.
Last but not least, online retail titan Amazon Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) added 1.54% in pre-market deals but latre fell 0.65% on Thursday ahead of its second quarter numbers, which will be released after the bell.
The group has also now passed the eye-watering $500bn market cap level yesterday.
The group is expected to post quarterly earnings at $1.42 per share on revenue of $37.16bn.
