Profits were flat at Imperial Leather owner PZ Cussons (LON:PZC) last year though it held or boosted market share in all its main brands.
The soap and beauty products group had already flagged it expected a solid performance and underlying profits to May came in almost dead flat at £103.5mln on sales down slightly at £809.2mln.

Caroline Silver, chair, said the group had again been held back by a significant currency devaluation in Nigeria, one of its key markets, though the UK was described as robust.
Other markets were described as challenging though sAustralia and Indonesia saw good sales momentum.
As well as Imperial Leather, Cuzzons owns the Carex and Original Source soap brands and the Sanctuary, St Tropez, Charles Worthington and Fudge beauty products.
The dividend for the year rises by 2.1% to 8.26p.
Shares rose 2p to 364p.
