Solo Oil PLC (LON:SOLO) has welcomed news of the latest payment from the Tanzanian national oil and gas company for sales from the Kiliwani North Field. Cabot Energy Plc (LON:CAB) told investors it has been producing some 550 barrels of oil per day, which is in line with guidance, and its summer programme is set to expand on that significantly.

Mosman Oil And Gas Ltd (LON:MSMN) has told investors it is happy with the work completed to date at its new ventures in the United States. It comes as the AIM-quoted group’s management carried out site visits.

Highlands Natural Resources Plc (LON:HNR) has started the countdown to drilling at its East Denver shale project. Following its successful recent funding the company has now advanced the project, with a rig now set to mobilise in Colorado. HNR has inked a rig contract and the hotly anticipated programme will get underway in the coming weeks.

Aminex plc (LON:AEX) told investors it is re-evaluating its interests around Songo Songo Island, in Tanzania, to identify new drill targets. Any gas finds in the area could feed the gas plant on the island, the company noted.

Back-office workforce optimisation specialist EG Solutions plc (LON:EGS) has enjoyed a “strong” first half of trading, so strong in fact that it has upgraded its full-year guidance. For the 12 months to 31 January 2018, the AIM-quoted group is now forecasting revenues of at least £10.5mln (2017: £8.2mln), and adjusted underlying earnings (EBITDA) of not less than £1.9mln (2017: £1.2mln)

One of the core investments of company incubator Frontier IP (LON:FIPP), Nandi Proteins Limited, has raised £1mln at a 32% premium to the price of its last funding. Nandi’s technology reduces the amount of sugar, fat and emulsifiers used in food processing and its development is being closely monitored by the industry.

Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (LON:CMCL TSE:CAL) expects to meet its gold production target this year through an improved second half performance. The Zimbabwe-based miner produced approximately 12,522 ounces of gold from the Blanket mine in the three months to June, about the same amount as a year ago.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC (LON:BRH), the fund management and strategic investor group, will continue to focus this year on developing its three strategic investments. At today’s annual general meeting (AGM), chief executive Trevor Brown will provide shareholders with updates on those three investments: Paraytec; Gyrometric; and Kirkstall.

ANGLE plc (LON:AGL) is presenting an independent study by Western University on circulating tumour cell (CTC) analysis in preclinical models of cancer metastasis at the Tumor Models Summit in Boston today.

Metal Tiger plc (LON:MTR) has today announced the appointment of RFC Ambrian as its joint corporate broker and nominated advisor alongside existing corporate brokers, SI Capital and VSA Capital Limited.

Pan African Resources PLC (LON:PAF) produced 173,000 ounces of gold in the year to June 2017, slightly lower than guidance. A slower restart at the Evander mine, after operations were halted earlier in the year and operational challenges at the Barberton mine, now remedied, were behind the miss.

Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd (LON:CGH) said Labro Investments Limited has bought a further stake in the mining company, bringing its total holding to 34.67% or 121,948,037 ordinary shares.

Kin Group Plc (LON:KIN) has received a notice of the conversion of £50,000 of loan notes that were issued to Belastock Capital L.P. The notes were converted at the closing bid price for the company's ordinary shares on 19 July of 0.05p per ordinary share. Kin will make an application for the admission of the conversion shares to trading on AIM once the suspension in trading in the company's ordinary shares has been lifted.

Sunrise Resources (LON:SRES) said it has redesigned and relaunched its website to improve appearance and increase functionality across a wider range of platforms.

Katoro Gold PLC (LON:KAT) completed drilling on its Imweru resource development programme in Tanzania on 19 July, a month ahead of schedule and below budget. “The rapid progress and completion of the drill programme will enable the Company to export all geological samples from the drill programme in one batch which will in turn have the added benefit of receiving all the lab results in one report,” it said.
