Anson Resources Ltd appoints technical advisor for Paradox Brine Project

There is no substitute for experience with SRK Consulting being appointed.

Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN) remains focused on Paradox Lithium Brine Project, which is located in the U.S. state of Utah.

The project is located 4 kilometres from an operating potash mine and in a semi-desert region that has 300 days of sun per year.

Anson is earning up to 70% in the project by spending US$3 million.

The company has now appointed SRK Consulting (U.S.), Inc. as its lithium project technical advisor.

SRK will conduct a review to assist in prioritising the eight drilling locations identified, including the possible re-entry of an existing oil well drilled through Clastic Zone 31, which is known to contain lithium rich brine.

The review is expected to be completed by the end of August 2017.

Bruce Richardson, managing director for Anson, commented:

"The appointment of SRK Consulting (US) Inc. as Technical Advisors provide Anson with access to people with extensive experience drilling in the Paradox Basin and lithium-potassium projects is important to take this project forward.

"There is no replacement for local knowledge and experience."

Richardson brings strong experience to the board of Anson, being a 30 year veteran with a proven track record in exploration, mining and production.
