As news surrounding President Trump and the Fed's Yellen continued to drive the news agenda on Wednesday, after hours trade saw a number of stocks buzzing.
One was Missouri-headquartered pharma group Mallinckrodt (NYSE:MNK), which added almost alf a percent in extended trading.
It is also up 3.17% in pre-market deals today after the all-powerful Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted special orphan labeling to its muscular dystrophy drug candidate.
The FDA has given MNK-1411 what's called orphan drug designation - given to firms to indicate a drug that will be used to treat, diagnose or prevent rare diseases.
Elsewhere, Affiliated Managers Group Inc (NYSE:AMG) saw shares nudge a tad higher, after hours after it had earlier dropped 1.4% after telling investors after the New York bell that it would redeem the full $200mln principal amount of 6.375% senior loan notes that were issued in 2012.
Meanwhile, Adobe Systems Inc (NASDAQ:ADBE) was down 2% on low volume trade - after hours. In the earlier regular session, Adobe had put on 2.08% to US$145.91.
